Many of you have been asking for more healthy recipe options so here it is folks! I am a dairy free person, but I still love nut milk in my coffee and smoothies. Almond milk is a great option but I don’t like all of the additives that are found in most store brands. Once you see how easy it is to make at home you will never buy it at the store again! Here is how to make organic almond milk at home.
What I Use:
- 1 Cup Organic Almonds
- 4 Cups Filtered Water
- 1 tsp vanilla (if desired)
Soak almonds in water overnight.
Drain and Rinse the almonds.
Blend almonds, filtered water, and vanilla until smooth.
Filter through nut milk bag into a bowl.
Store in a glass container.
Milk lasts in the refrigerator for about a week.
