Time Flies with Jord Watches

Greetings lovely people, I have missed you! I have been up to all kinds of stuff since I last wrote and time has flown. Over the last couple of months, I spent quality time with my family for the holidays, traveled to Utah to go skiing with friends and celebrated John and my one year wedding anniversary in Antigua. To be completely honest, I have also had some health concerns.  Not to worry, I am ok.  I look forward to filling you in on all of my travels and adventures in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, roles have reversed for this post because John stepped in front of the camera to show off his new wooden watch from Jord!

I have asked John many times to write for MHM and even offered to give him his own section called Moderately High Maintenance Man! Am I the only one who thinks that’s a good idea? Despite my offer of a place to share all things cigars and bourbon, it took the offer of a cool watch to get him on board with being featured.  Don’t worry, Sylvie was available, per usual, to help him get used to the camera!

Unique Watch

One of the many things we love about Jord watches is how each watch is crafted sustainably.  You choose your watch based on the type of wood. John’s watch is Kosso wood which is sourced from Nigeria.

Each clasp is made out of stainless steel for durability.

Jord Wood Watch stainless steel clasp Jord watches make the perfect gift because they are displayed beautifully in a gift box made from the same tree as the watch.  I say just slap a big bow and it’s ready to go!

Regardless of your style, I guarantee that Jord has a watch for you! Don’t worry ladies, Jord has plenty of ladies options for you too!

If there is anything that we learned over the last few months it is, the value of a watch is not in being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of the need to make that time count.
